Kurukshetra University MCA Entrance Exam

Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 and has grown into a multi-faculty university as one of the premier centers for advanced study and research in the region. It offers a number of undergraduate, postgraduate and M.Phil in a number of different specializations. The application process for all the courses starts in the month of June except for M.Phil. courses for which it starts in the month of August. This university also imparts education through distance learning.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MCA (LEET): B.Sc. (Computer Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology) degree of minimum 3 Yr. duration with 50% marks(47.50% marks for SC/ST) with Mathematics as a subject at 10+2 level or at Graduation level OR BCA degree of minimum 3 Yr. duration with 50% marks(47.50% marks for SC/ST)
  • MCA: Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks (47.50% marks for SC/ST) of minimum 3-Yr. duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level orat Graduation level OR BCA degree of minimum 3 Yr. duration with 50% marks (47.5% marks for SC/ST

MCA

Entrance Test will be having 10+2 level Mathematics and English/Comprehension. Besides, questions will be asked to test Logical & Analytical Ability. There will be one Question Paper of 90 minutes duration in three parts as under :Part-I : Mathematical Ability (50 questions each of 1 mark)Part-II : Logical & Analytical Ability (20 questions each of 1 mark)Part-III : English/Comprehension (20 questions each of 1 mark)There will be no negative marking. Maximum marks of the test shall be 90.

MCA Lateral Entry

Common Entrance Test will be of the level of qualifying examination. There shall be 50 objective multiple choice type questions of 2 marks each. The candidates will be awarded 2 (two) marks for every correct answer. There will be no negative marking. No other weightage will be given for preparing the merit list.
